Traveler Rights — Standard Form (GO 2/2018)

Travelers receive all essential information about the travel package before concluding the contract (itinerary, flights, accommodation, meals, total price, and taxes).

There is always at least one entity liable for the proper performance of all the travel services included in the contract (the package organizer).

Travelers are provided with an emergency telephone number or details of a contact point where they can get in touch with the organizer or the intermediary travel agency DollarTrips.

Travelers may transfer the package to another person, on reasonable notice, and possibly subject to additional real costs imposed by suppliers (e.g., flight ticket name change fees).

The package price may only be increased if specific costs rise (for instance fuel prices or airport taxes) and if expressly provided for in the contract, and in any event not later than 20 days before the start of the package. If the price increase exceeds 8% of the package price, the traveler may terminate the contract without penalty.

Travelers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee and get a full refund of any payments if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at the place of destination or its immediate vicinity (e.g., severe natural disasters, war).

If the package organizer becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded via the insurance policy or guarantee fund held by the organizer. If transport is included, repatriation of travelers is guaranteed.
